Questions and Answers about Circumcision

The decision to circumcise your son is an important one.  Here are a few questions that parents often ask.  Please don’t hesitate to call us to make an appointment or to discuss your questions in detail.

After Care Instructions

A detailed print-out of aftercare instructions will be provided to you at the time of the procedure.  Furthermore, you will have direct access to Dr. Bregman following the procedure if there are any questions that arise.

Consent & Policies

Both parents must consent to the procedure even if only one parent attends. Please ensure that Dr. Bregman receives proof of consent if one of the parents is not present at the procedure.

Dr. Bregman requires 24-hr cancellation notification.

Additional Considerations

There are certain medical conditions that prevent infants from being circumcised. These include any personal or family history of bleeding problems and certain anatomical problems with the penis.  Furthermore, premature infants should not be circumcised until at least 6 weeks of age.

Please inform Dr. Bregman if your son is taking any medication(s). If the child is breastfed and you are taking any medication, you will need to discuss this with Dr. Bregman as well.

Circumcision Procedure Fee

All circumcisions are performed for $400. Cash and credit are accepted.
